2M.ma: FreshTrack digital platform launches its collaborative solution dedicated to end-to-end Maritime transport

Published by 2m.ma
FreshTrack has announced the launch of a new digital maritime solution that complements its logistics offering introduced 2 years ago on the Moroccan market.
The result of a digital collaboration with leading freight maritime companies, the developed maritime solution consolidates FreshTrack’s ambition to simplify the customer journey throughout the logistics chain and to provide the real-time visibility and traceability necessary to control product and information flows, according to a press release.
With this new service, the customer now has access to a wide range of products facilitating export and import logistics operations. These include the ability to consult maritime schedules from partner shipping companies, manage orders, track shipments and monitor cargo travel conditions in real time, and also share visibility with the destination customer in a single click.
FreshTrack connects all supply chain players. This new maritime solution complements the land transport offering already launched in 2021. Maritime transport is the main mode of transport in international trade. Digitalization is the best response to simplify operations associated with this mode, which are characterized by their complexity and the multiplicity of stakeholders involved

Furthermore, with this new solution, FreshTrack contributes to reducing the carbon footprint through the possibilities of optimizing empty returns and less polluting maritime solutions.
Out of 35 million km traveled by trucks ordered on FreshTrack, approximately 50% returned empty. Thanks to FreshTrack, land carriers now share their empty availability and thus significantly reduce their CO2 emissions per ton transported

Moreover, FreshTrack continues its strategy of dematerializing logistics processes for import and export by relying on Moroccan talent and the latest information and data technologies. The platform now offers its services to the entire Moroccan and international logistics community.
Connecting all players in a digital environment such as FreshTrack enables is a source of potential savings and operational performance for all players in the global logistics chain
